Mr. Allan Polack took over as Group CEO of PFA Pension in April 2015. PFA is Denmark’s leading life and pension company with about 1 million individual customers and 55 bn EUR in assets.
Prior to joining PFA, Allan Polack held the position as CEO of Nordea Asset Management since 2007. With 166 bn EUR in assets Nordea Asset Management is the largest asset manager in the Nordic area.
Allan Polack started in Nordea as an equity analyst, and from 2002-2007 he held the position as CEO of Nordea Life & Pensions.
Allan Polack is board member of The Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) (international independent non-profit research institute), FIH Holding A/S, Axcel Future, La Banque Postale Asset Management, and The Danish Insurance Association. Furthermore, Allan Polack is member of BlackRock Retirement Institute Advisory Council.
Furthermore, Allan Polack is a personal member of FEAM (Federation of European Asset Managers) and is a regular speaker at European Fund Forum, EFAMA Investor Seminar and European Institute of Institutional Investors.
Allan Polack was a member of EFAMA Board of Directors 2013-2015, and he has been chairman of a taskforce under CEPS/European Capital Markets Institute regarding long-term investment in retirement savings.
Allan Polack holds a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration and has concluded an Advanced Management Program from INSEAD.
